Esta multa se acumula cada d\u00eda calendario, incluidos los fines de semana y los d\u00edas festivos, no solo los d\u00edas en que el empleado habr\u00eda trabajado. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-15bfcb9 elementor-widget__width-initial elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"15bfcb9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">La Ley Unruh<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5ba62a0 elementor-widget__width-inherit elementor-widget-tablet__width-initial elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"5ba62a0\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Aprobada originalmente en 1959 y posteriormente enmendada para incluir protecciones por discapacidad, proh\u00edbe la discriminaci\u00f3n por parte de cualquier establecimiento comercial en California. Establece expl\u00edcitamente que una violaci\u00f3n de la ADA es tambi\u00e9n una violaci\u00f3n de la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dor.ca.gov\/Home\/UnruhCivilRightsAct\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ley Unruh<\/a>, vinculando efectivamente la ley federal y estatal. Seg\u00fan la Ley Unruh, las personas pueden demandar por da\u00f1os legales de $4,000 por violaci\u00f3n, lo que puede incluir cada instancia de encontrar una barrera o ser disuadido de acceder a una instalaci\u00f3n. Esto puede incluir realizar cambios f\u00edsicos en el espacio de trabajo, proporcionar dispositivos de asistencia o alterar los horarios de trabajo para adaptarse a las necesidades m\u00e9dicas. <\/li><li><strong>Pr\u00e1cticas de contrataci\u00f3n discriminatorias<\/strong>: Los empleadores no pueden discriminar a los candidatos con discapacidades durante el proceso de contrataci\u00f3n. Esto incluye negarse a contratar a un candidato calificado debido a su discapacidad o no proporcionar las adaptaciones necesarias durante las entrevistas. <\/li><li><strong>Espacios de trabajo inaccesibles<\/strong>: Las instalaciones deben ser accesibles para los empleados con discapacidades, lo que significa proporcionar rampas, ascensores y otras modificaciones necesarias.
